Tot Asai was born in Hood River in 1915 and graduated from the old Hood River High School. He graduated from college and served four years in the Navy during World War II. He returned to Hood River after the war and started an orchard, which the family still operates. This memorial scholarship offers one $2500 award per year.
CRITERIA
- Female Student
- Must have participated in golf, tennis or track
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Must have learned English as a second language

- Essay: “What lessons learned outside the classroom will help you succeed in the future?” (no more than one page)
