In cooperation with the Hood River County Education Foundation
Mike’s Ice Cream is a local institution that has been serving this community for more than 40 years. In order to support the community that has supported their business, the Kitts family has established the Mike’s Ice Cream Scholarship for graduates of Hood River Valley High School. Specifically, this fund is intended to support a student who worked to cross cultural barriers and excel in a language/culture other than their own.
This is one scholarship of $1,000, renewable for up to three additional years at $1,000 per year (for a total of $4,000) if the student remains in good academic standing.
