In cooperation with the Hood River County Education Foundation
The Duckwall-Pooley Fruit Company is offering two scholarships of $1000 each to the sons and daughters of current Duckwall-Pooley Fruit Co. employees. These scholarships will be for the purpose of obtaining a Bachelor’s or Associate Degree from a certified program.
Duckwall-Pooley will not be involved in the selection process except to clarify scholarship criteria.
CRITERIA
- Applicant’s parent, grandparent or great-grandparent is a current Duckwall-Pooley employee. Family member must have been employed for at least 18 months.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Financial need

- Provide the name of the eligible family member employed at Duckwall-Pooley.
SCORING
- Community service and/or involvement (10%)
- Well-rounded academic/school program (10%)
- Financial need (30%)
- Essay (50%)
