The Hood River County Farm Bureau Scholarship for $1,000.00 is available to graduating high school seniors, and current college students of Hood River County. The goal of the scholarship is to support Hood River County students that will have a positive impact on production agriculture, or other agricultural related and forestry fields.
CRITERIA
- Applicant intends to pursue career in forestry or any agriculture-related field
SUPPLEMENTAL
- Essay: Write a brief description regarding your past agricultural experiences and interests.
- Essay: In 1,000 words or less, tell us about one issue Oregon agriculture is currently facing, its importance, and how you think agriculturists can overcome it.
- Essay: In 1,000 words or less, tell us how your education and career goals will benefit rural Oregon and the agriculture industry.
