In cooperation with the Hood River County Education Foundation
The Beardsley family came to Hood River in 1946 and has been actively involved in business and community service since that time.
Charles (Chuck) Beardsley was for many years a partner with Herschner & Bell Realty. He served on the Hood River City Council and also as mayor from 1977-1983. He was also actively involved with the Sister City Program during its initial formation. Chuck and Barbara’s three children graduated from Hood River Valley High School and continued their studies at Oregon State University.
